Vitex trifolia (Local name - Nirnocchi, sirunocchi) is well known for its medicinal
property. The present investigation encompasses evaluation of antibacterial potential of Vitex trifolia against certain pathogenic bacterial strains. Preliminary phytochemical studies were also made and results are given.
